• What is your shipping policy?

    Solid Brass uses the United States Postal Service (USPS) to ship all orders from our web store. Generally we suggest Media Mail, but during checkout, you will have the option to upgrade to Priority Mail if you need your order faster. We provide tracking information for all orders within the United States. We will send you an email when your order ships. The email will include the delivery confirmation number, which can be used to track your package. 

     

    All orders shipping outside the United States are shipped via International First Class unless they are over 4 lbs. (1.8 kg), in which case they will ship via International Priority. All International shipping charges are based on the exact postage rates from the USPS. There may be an additional customs fee upon delivery. We have no control or influence over import duties and taxes levied by foreign governments, and therefore, we cannot be held liable for these charges. 

  • When will my US order arrive? 

    Orders ship within 7 business days. Transit times may differ once your order has shipped, but generally follow standard USPS estimates:

    USPS Media Mail: 2-8 days

    USPS First Class: 2-7 days
    USPS Priority Mail: 1–5 days

    If your order includes a pre-order item, you will receive your entire order in one shipment on or around that title’s release date; we do not split orders. To receive in-stock items sooner please place a separate order for those titles.

  • When will my international order arrive?

    Ship times for international orders vary depending on the distance. They typically take 1–4 weeks. Long distances and customs processing often slows down international shipping so please be patient. If you haven't received your package 8 weeks after your shipping confirmation please email us at mailorder@solidbrassrecords.com. Be sure to include all the relevant information so we can quickly assist you.

  • What is your return policy?

    Returns must be requested within 14 days of receiving your order. We only accept returns if:

    • LPs and cassettes are unopened and undamaged.
    • Clothing is unworn and unwashed.
    • Your return is requested within 14 days of receipt of shipment.

    Please Note: 

    • We do not accept returns for items that were discounted or on sale.
    • The customer is responsible for any return shipping costs.

    Once your order has been received and determined eligible you will be refunded for the cost of the merchandise within 3-5 business days. You will not be refunded for the original shipping costs.

  • What if my package arrives damaged?

    Sometimes things get damaged or lost in transit. We cannot be held responsible for damage caused by USPS or other shipping providers. Hopefully it was just the box and the contents of your order were not damaged.

  • What if my order is damaged or defective?

    Please email mailorder@solidbrassrecords.com with a description and a photo(s) of the damage or defect. If there is an issue with the audio please include a short video with sound. We will investigate further and contact you with more details.

  • Can I send you my demo?

    We are always excited to hear new music! Feel free to send streamable links (Soundcloud is great) or download links to: info@solidbrassrecords.com. While we will certainly listen we can’t guarantee a reply to everyone who sends a demo.

    We have planned releases (some announced, some unannounced) for the rest of 2024 and into 2025. If you send us your demo, and if we were interested in having a conversation, please understand it would not be a project we could reasonably work on for up to a year.

  • I am a record store. Where can I buy your stuff?

    Thanks for your interest! Redeye is our global distribution partner. You can also order most of our titles through major one-stops like AEC.

  • Can I use Solid Brass music in my video or commercial?
