Came By To Kill Me
SBR17 - 1/24/25
Originally released in 1996 as a Slowdime / Dischord Records split label release, Kerosene 454’s sophomore album Came By To Kill Me, is now back in print after 28 years.
Came By to Kill Me were the first recordings written exclusively with drummer Darren Zentek (formerly of the band, Glendale) and came at a time when the band felt like they were moving at 100 miles per hour. The album was recorded over 6 days in the summer of 1996 with J. Robbins (Jawbox, Magpie Cage Studio) and Don Zientara at Inner Ear Studios with help from Juan Carrera (Warmers, Slowdime Records).
In September, the band announced a partnership with Solid Brass records to begin work on reissuing their catalog. Came By To Kill Me has been completely remastered from the original tapes by Dan Coutant at Sunroom Audio in Cornwall, NY. The album will be available digitally for the first time ever as well as limited edition vinyl variants for Solid Brass Records (Silver Smoke), indie retailers (Eco Graphite), and BCore Records (Cloudy Clear) for UK/EU fans.
This is a pre-order. The official release date is 1/24/25. Orders begin shipping on 1/20/25.
