Providence, RI slowcore meets countrygaze veterans quietly returned in 2026 with a new album.
The album title comes from a zen buddhist poem by Theri Punna: "Fill yourself with the dharma. / When you are as full as the moon-- burst open. / Make the dark night shine." Bit of a lofty goal, maybe, but in this era of shadows, finding some way to shimmer in the darkness might be the only rational response.
Across 7 tracks, singer-guitarist Matthew Derby weaves a narrative that starts with the death of a parent and ends with the recognition that past mistakes might actually have saved us from a far worse fate.
Limited to 100 copies.

REVIEWS & PRESS
"Indie rock of a certain age: Equal parts Magnolia Electric Co., Hum and Silkworm by way of Codeine. Reference-less rec: A bummer-heavy rock record that doesn't forget to blast off."
Lars Gotrich / Viking's Choice
"An unvarnished aesthetic and vision that is always real."
